Do yourself a favor when considering renting a room from anyone... run a check on them at the local county courthouse- under "Civil, Small Claims & Criminal" all you need is their name to learn whether or not you want to risk living at that location. - Landlords run a check on you.... but for some reason prospective tenants do not think to run a check on the landlord...
